Daily:
If you have any immediate concerns about your child or changes in dismissal, please call and communicate this with the office. They will make sure that we get this information! We aren't always able to see our email when we have students in the classroom with us.
We will communicate daily through your child's agenda where you can see what we worked on for that day! Please make sure you look over their agenda and sign it each night!
Weekly:
We will include upcoming/important dates and information for the month on the first Monday of the month in our weekly communication email.
You can always call or email us with questions or concerns. Please be sure to always include both Mrs. Bockhoff and Mrs. Harrison on your communication so that nothing gets missed!

Spelling/Vocabulary:
There will be weekly vocabulary tests on Fridays that go along with our weekly Structured Literacy prefix/suffix/root. Throughout the week they will be diving deep into understanding the meaning of the morpheme and how that changes the meaning of a word. On the end of the week quiz students will be filling in the blank and answering multiple choice questions to show their understanding.

1. Follow directions quickly
2. Raise your hand for permission to speak
3. Raise your hand to permission to leave your seat
4. Make smart choices
5. Keep your dear teacher happy
Class Dojo:
Birthday Treats:
Birthday treats need to be store bought and pre packaged. Please communicate with us about when you will send in birthday treats.
Snack:
We will have a daily snack break. This will be no longer than 10 minutes. Students will be socially distanced in the pod area or outside.
Lunch:
Our lunch time is 12:55-1:22 pm.

Classroom Assessments: Chapter math tests, science tests, social studies tests, spelling tests
Grades:
We use a traditional grading scale as follows:
A= 90- 100%

C= 70-79%
D= 60-69%
F= below 60%

We will also send home graded assignments, tests, and projects in Monday folders.

- We will update the blog and send a weekly email every Monday. This will give you the information you need for the week. We will send the occasional email throughout the week or on a Friday if a class update comes up that needs to be communicated before Monday. We will try to limit the amount of emails you get.
- Monday folders will come home each Monday as well. This will include communication from the school, PTO, and graded assignments/tests from the classroom.
- Mrs. Fulcher will also send a weekly update email every Friday. This will be news and updates for the entire school.
